Reserve Your 2011 Tesla Model S
What carries 5 adults, goes from 0-60 miles per hour in 5.6 seconds, and doesn't burn a drop of gasoline? Only the Tesla Model S.

With a 300 mile range and a $50,000+ price tag this vehicle is the company's most ambitious project yet. The specifications are incredible considering Tesla just launched its first vehicle, the Roadster, in 2008.
With the $3,000 home connector installed in your garage, the batteries on the Model S can be charged to 80% capacity in 45 minutes. Top speed of this all-electric vehicle is 120 miles per hour.
The advantages of electric propulsion include no gear shifting and 100 percent torque delivery to the wheels at all times. Tesla's electric motor is also much quieter than internal combustion engines.
Model S will offer more cargo space than many conventional sedans, not to mention other electric vehicles coming onto the market. The rear hatch and 60/40 flat folding rear seat leaves plenty of room for storage. In addition, there's space for cargo under the hood in the front of the vehicle.
The lithium-ion batteries on the Model S are mounted in the floor and liquid-cooled. For those situations where a charging station is not available, Tesla anticipates that spent batteries can be swapped for a fully charged set in only five minutes.
Tesla anticipates that profits from the Model S will be used to develop its third all-electric vehicle, a $20-30,000 sedan codenamed BlueStar. Prospective buyers can reserve a Model S now at Tesla Motors.
