CES 2010: HYmini Biscuit Renewable Charger

HYmini has revealed its latest renewable energy charging solution at this year's Consumer Electronics Show. This foldable, fully portable contraption includes its own solar panel and wind turbine.

As long as the wind is blowing and the sun is shining the Biscuit will charge two AA batteries stashed inside the frame. The device also includes a USB port for charging other devices via USB cable.

The Biscuit is available for $50. The blades on the wind turbine are removable for extra portability and the entire setup folds slim with or without batteries enclosed. When not in use, the wind turbine blades are stored in a plastic case that attaches to the side of the Biscuit.

For those situations where the sun and wind may not be cooperating, the Biscuit batteries can be charged using a wall outlet or USB cable as a backup.
