Capri Cork Offers Earth-Friendly Surfaces

Capri cork is a newly established company that is dedicated to providing Earth-friendly surfaces, textures and coverings that are easy to clean, long lasting and good looking. Their first collection consists of floor coverings.

The flooring options include the Mediterra cork homogeneous and veneer glue down tile; Cor-Terra rubber flooring with cork content; Re-Tire recycled rubber in rolls and tiles; and Eco-Clicks glueless cork floating floor and Second String, which consists of overruns, non-standard sizes and off shade/color goods. Tiles are available in 12" and 24" squares ranging from $6 to $9 per square foot, so it is affordable in addition to being eco-friendly. The flooring contributes to LEEDS credits, which is the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™. Capri is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.
